Can't talk about much in this post, but let's just say that both Michael and I are going to be very busy these next couple of weeks. We are going to be opening up a Kickstarter to help raise funds for this film, so we can give you guys the best we can do. When that Kickstarter is up, we will also be releasing something special. That's all I can say about that, and I technically have already said too much; but we are very exited about this, and can't wait to show you guys.
Everything we've needed for this film is slowly coming together. We finally have all the actors, and are working on crew members. Hopefully, this Kickstarter will get us all the equipment we need. I do have to say this, though. Do not think this will be our only movie. If we get the profit we are expecting to get off this film, then we will be making something, hopefully even bigger than Isolation. But right now, our only focus is making this one of the best horror films you will ever see. Hollywood horror films will be blown out of the water if we get this right.

Isolation Info
Okay, so I have the page up and running for the moment. Still have a lot of renovating to do, but this will work for now. So my brother Michael Bills and I are currently working on an feature indie horror film known as Isolation. We have a lot to talk about on this, but I'll start out on why we decided to make it.
As many of you film fanatics know, Hollywood movies just aren't cutting it anymore, especially horror films. They have grown to be too predictable, and seem to focus on gore more than fear tactics, which was the original purpose of horror films. To actually scare people. That is what my brother and I were both talking about when we both came up with the idea: "Hey, why don't we just make our own horror movie?". And that's when Isolation was born.
We spent the next few weeks brainstorming and planning every scene, every death, and how we were going to pull them off. After that, we immediatly began work on the script. Now, I used to work on a genre of video game short films known as Machinimas. During that time, I aquired and learned my way around various programs such as Adobe After Effects, and Vegas Pro. I also familiared myself with certain Video Copilot plug ins. So we have all the effects covered. We also quickly aquired actors and crew members. We opened up a facebook page, and started on advertising. We created a film poster via Adobe Photoshop, and started a new youtube page under the name Red Raven Pictures. The Facebook page has been getting more likes every few days. We are currently almost at 40. Which isn't much, but we did just open the page a few weeks ago. So we are hoping to get up to at least 100 likes by the time we begin filming. We are more than 1/4 of the way through the script, and plan to begin filming early this summer, so I think we are off to a good start.
We have music planned out as well. We even have a band who will be composing material for us. We plan on opening a Kickstarter page to hopefully aquire around $2500 so we can purchase equipment for the movie. We have many ways we plan on distributing the movie as well. We have everything planned out, and that really reassures me that we can get this movie completed; and trust me, we are VERY serious about this movie, and plan for a release date for this fall.
At this time, we are currently looking for two actors to fill the roles of Eric and Rachael in the film. the biggest requirement is that you need to live in the areas of Ohio County, Switzerland County, and Dearborn County of Indiana. Welcome!
Hey guys, Austin Smeeks here from Red Raven Pictures. I'd like to welcome you all to the official Red Ravem Blog! Here you guys will find in depth news about our upcoming horror movie, Isolation. I will give you guys some more information after I get the blog up and running. I will say, though; this will act as our official site. That's all I have to say for the time being. Like I said, let me get this site up and running then I'll be back. :D
